Questions

Is FITXP only for people with a health condition?

No. FITXP is a nutrition and fitness tracker for anyone who wants to understand their food — whether you're losing weight, building muscle or simply eating better. The parts built for specific conditions, like the Blood Sugar Impact estimate, sit alongside everything else.

Do I need a CGM or glucometer to use FITXP?

No. FITXP estimates the blood sugar impact of your meals from their nutritional composition, so you don't need a continuous glucose monitor or finger-prick glucometer. These values are estimates, not measurements of blood glucose.

Is FITXP free?

FITXP is free to download on iOS and Android. Logging meals and AI analysis are part of FITXP Pro, a subscription — and whatever you log stays readable for as long as you keep your account, subscribed or not.

Can FITXP help with high cholesterol or fatty liver?

FITXP tracks the nutrients involved — saturated fat, total fat, fiber, sugar, dietary cholesterol and calories — across your whole food diary, so you can see your overall eating patterns. It is an informational tool, not a treatment, and your doctor sets your targets.

Does FITXP work for Type 1 diabetes?

FITXP is not designed for Type 1 diabetes insulin dosing. People with Type 1 may still find the meal logging useful, but FITXP should never be used to make insulin decisions.

How does the Blood Sugar Impact estimate work?

FITXP analyzes a photo of your meal to identify foods and estimate carbohydrates, fiber, fat and protein, then scores the likely blood sugar impact. Walking after a meal reduces the estimated spike based on duration, intensity and timing.
