FITXP Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 2026 · Last updated: 29 August 2026

FITXP (“FITXP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using FITXP, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Important Note About Health Data

FITXP processes sensitive personal data, including health-related information.

By using the Services, you:

  • Explicitly consent to the collection and processing of this data
  • Understand that this data is used to provide personalized insights and improve the Services

If you do not agree, you should not use FITXP.

2. Information We Collect

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Country or location
  • Profile details (optional)

Health & Fitness Data

You may provide:

  • Food and nutrition logs (including photos)
  • Calorie and macro intake
  • Body measurements (weight, body fat, BMI)
  • Fitness activities and habits
  • Sleep patterns (if entered)
  • Health conditions (e.g., diabetes, cholesterol)
  • Personal goals and preferences

This may be considered sensitive personal data under applicable laws.

AI Inputs

  • Food photos for recognition
  • Manual meal descriptions
  • Notes or logs entered into the app

Communications

  • Messages you send to support
  • Feedback, surveys, or feature requests

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We collect:

  • Device type and operating system
  • IP address
  • App usage data (features used, session duration)
  • Interaction patterns (clicks, navigation)
  • Error logs and performance data

2.3 Information from Third Parties (Future Integrations)

If you connect external services, we may collect:

  • Activity data from wearables
  • Health data from integrated platforms
  • Payment information from payment providers (we do not store full payment details)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

3.1 Provide Core Services

  • Track your nutrition and activity
  • Generate AI-based insights and recommendations
  • Estimate blood sugar responses
  • Personalize your experience

3.2 Improve the Product

  • Train and improve AI models (in aggregated or anonymized form where possible)
  • Analyze user behavior
  • Develop new features

3.3 Communication

  • Respond to support requests
  • Send service updates
  • Send product-related messages
  • Send guidance emails during your first few weeks, to help you get started with the app

Email measurement. Our email provider, Resend, records whether our emails to you are opened and whether links in them are clicked. We use this only to judge whether these messages are useful, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or for advertising.

Every guidance email carries an unsubscribe link, and one-click unsubscribe is supported in your email app. Unsubscribing stops the guidance emails only — you will still receive account emails such as password resets, which are necessary to run your account. It does not change your in-app reminders, which have their own setting, and it does not affect your account or anything you have logged.

3.4 Security and Compliance

  • Detect fraud or misuse
  • Maintain system security
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI and Data Processing

FITXP uses artificial intelligence to analyze your inputs.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI systems process your data to generate outputs
  • Data may be used to improve models (in anonymized or aggregated form where possible)
  • AI outputs may not always be accurate

We do not use your personal health data for advertising purposes.

We may share data with:

5.1 Service Providers

  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Analytics tools
  • Customer support platforms
  • Payment processors

These providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

5.2 Legal and Regulatory Authorities

If required by law or to:

  • Protect rights and safety
  • Prevent fraud or misuse

5.3 Business Transfers

In the event of:

  • Acquisition
  • Merger
  • Sale of assets

Your data may be transferred as part of the business.
